Technically the little white temple up on the hill is a Sun Temple but the monkeys are the highlight.

In the cooler mornings the monkeys are very sedate VS hotter afternoons when they are running wild. If you are worried about packs of wild monkeys - go in the morning. There are also a lot fewer people there too. It is also easier to take very nice photos of the monkeys since they will just sit there and ignore you.

One of my Indian friends told a story of how monkeys swarmed him when he was feeding them once. One even jumped up and was sitting on his shoulder!
